I'm against E-Waste Processing.
In a world where electronics rapidly change, sometimes the only place to source replacements is from other similar aged or broken equipment which now can be almost impossible to locate due to stupid strict recycling policies and price gouging recyclers who can see then need to make parts available however do so at excessively high prices. ($300 for an 8" floppy drive? Go fuck yourself)
On top of that, it hurts the second hand store industry. The electronics section in almost any store used to make up nearly a third of the store. Now it takes up an eighth at best because the majority of their electronic intake they are required to immediately recycle.
