• Something you didn't understand in the past, but do now

In year 6 we all got these graduate teddies before we left. My friends and other teachers all wrote something on the teddie that I had. Though, sad thing is; some of them didn't write their name. In other words, I didn't know who wrote this or that sometimes. Though one friend (his name is Sam) had written this: "URA LEGEND - Sam" I stored the graduate teddie in a safe place, never looking at it, nor picking it up. It was just... There. Just there to look at everytime I lifted my head from the pillow as I woke up. Now in year 10, a couple of years later, I picked up to look at my teddie. Looking at it long and hard to find any unread details I may of missed or didn't understand in the past. I found the URA LEGEND thing again. I never knew what it meant back then. But I do now. Alternate translation: You're a legend Yeah, I know, "it's common sense Chrono!" Yeah... Like my 11 or 12 year old self could comprehend shit spelling. But this 15 year old can now comprehend shit spelling heh. I feel dumber. Anyway, that's a little bit about something that I would have only learnt now, not before. Post below!

Why people thought I was an asshole.
That most people are assholes, and a few outlandish fetishes.

I now understand how crappy your general all-around vision is when you're driving a vehicle. As a kid, I thought drivers could always see me and everything would be fine as long as I didn't stand directly in front of the car. Probably gave some drivers a good scare by popping out of corners.
"Life is like a box of chocolate" Many years later I finally understand it...
How people made HL2/TF2 characters make incredibly wacky expressions This was before I discovered GMOD I thought that they had modded the game files/models themselves.
Spanish? [sp]Italian[/sp]
...yeah that
As a kid, I didn't know how employer-employee relations worked I wanted to become a shop clerk because I thought that when you buy groceries, the guy who takes your cash gets to keep it. Also I didn't know there can be multiple levels of something, I had very closeminded way of thinking about things. I didn't know that you don't have to be melancholic/suicidical to be depressed for instance.
Last night I found out that hamster is spelled hamster rather than hampster with a silent p. I don't know why no one corrected me before or why I even thought that in the first place.. [editline]22nd March 2014[/editline] also teaspoon, it's not that I never understood why it was called that, it's just that I never questioned it. I was making a cup of tea and blurted out "OH, it's a spoon for tea!" the dots connected and everyone looked at me funny

I used to think "guinea pigs" were called "puguinea pigs", like puh-guinea pig. I have no idea why but I learned the right way to say it eventually. :v:
That babies come from the vagina not the anus
Why Native Americans were known as Indians a lot of the time. I literally figured it out 2 days ago, I'm 18.

They just copied the same green color from the turtles. http://www.rollingstone.com/culture/pictures/shigeru-miyamoto-shares-nintendo-secrets-20130408/being-green-0338921
I had no idea how U.S politics worked I thought the president was the boss of everything. Exemplar gratis, at McDonald's. You have a bunch of crew members. Some work grill, some work up front, so on and so forth. The ones who have been there are the boss of the newbies, then all their boss is the crew chief. The crew chief's boss is the manager, etc. all the way up to the CEO then up to the owner of McDonald's. The president was the boss of the owner of McDonald's and everyone under him, therefore President Obama could walk into McDonald's and fire the boy working behind the register.
