• Headphones' Left/Right output is swapped.

As the title says, the left phone plays sounds coming from the right and vice-versa. A real pain when playing FPS. I've tried updating audio drivers (I have an onboard soundcard) to no avail. As far as I'm aware there are no software solutions which is surprising. What do? Edit the headset its self is this shitter from ASDA http://direct.asda.com/ASDA-PC-Headset/000599135,default,pd.html
ASDA PC headset. Wow. Anywho, apart from never buying an ASDA-branded-anything-to-do-with-electronics again, do you have any other sound software apart from the default volume controls that windows has?
Nope. Had the same before and they were fine, until I tripped over the cable and broke them. I'm taking them back to the shop cos they're obviously defective.
Anything from ASDA is bound to be defective at least in a few months. At least buy something from a company that sounds like they know what a computer is
Not sure if i'm not confused, but are you wearing it backwards? Like your left ear is in the right ear slot and so on.

Didn't windows XP sound control panel have some functions where you could swap the audio? I remember being able to do such a thing but it was a long time ago. Try searching settings for a similar option.
