I hated that guy so much in MK9. Gunna fuck him up again in MKX
The Commando variation sounds like a lot of fun. Wasn't much of a fan of Kano in MK9 but he looks interesting in MKX.
Woah...
Kano actually looks...
[sp]cool[/sp]
Always had a soft spot for him. Despite him being the weakest character in MK9 still had a laugh whooping people with him.
His xray looks pretty brutal.
why are core characters "returning" to the series
why are core characters "returning" to the series
Because its very possible they wont be in.
Also, Kano wasnt in MK2, MK4, and MK: Deception.
I want Bo' Rai Cho to come back :c
I wonder if any of the DLC characters from 9 will be in the X. If so, I wonder if they will be DLC again or part of the main game.

MKX is in continuity of MK9. Characters who died in 9's story mode won't be in X, and since it's set 25 years later, some characters are gonna be left out because they're straight up too old to fight (we're likely not going to get Sonya Blade or Johnny Cage, notably).

They were confirmed by the same german magazine that confirmed Kano, about a week ago.
The original 7 are in the game.

no johnny cage? this world is not fair at all
In my opinion, I'd rather just have constant new fighter announcements. The couple they've announced already look sick and MK is in dire need of a shaken up roster.

Oh wow this is bullshit, they're the best characters.

It's strange, I thought Cassie Cage would replace both of her parents. I hope they don't share too many moves.

Ed confirmed that theres going to be more new characters than any previous MK.
So at least 12, if another leak is accurate (which it seems to be) There will be 14 new characters, 16 returning, 8 from MK 1-3/MK9, 8 from post MK3.

Oh we're still going to get Cage and Blade ? They'd be like 50 years old in that one, that's gonna be weird.

The story STARTS directly after MK9 and SPANS 25 years.
Its not immediately 25 years, so we dont know if they even reach 50.
