Twentieth Century - "Summer of Love" American Pacific Coast
damn this sounds rad
I would love to see the japan version, just cause I've don't know much of feudal japan's history.
I remember that some art school student did some mock illustrations for an imaginary Assassin's Creed game set in Japanese-occupied Korea and Manchuria in the 1930s. That's what I'd love to see as a future game.
Fourtheenth Century - Ashikaga Shogunate in Japan
Best way to go if they don't want people to think AC is a rehash each year.
I really hope that they don't get into the Ottoman Empire era, I already disliked the them with Revelations. It never really worked for me.
The Japan concept, and the French Revolution concept are by far the best ideas since most of the others have been covered already in some form. Although, I would still like to see another Assassin's Creed game that takes place during the Crusades however.
damn this sounds rad
You know, I always thought if we're gonna get as much outta Ass Creed as possible, might as well take us to the 60's somehow. 'Nam, or the Summer of love, let's see some 60's action. [editline]4th November 2013[/editline] And yeah I agree, if they're going to milk the franchise for it's worth, might as well take us to exotic places. Give WWI some love, or take us to the Russian Revolution, or even take us to the Chinese Dynasties! So much to explore.

In comparison to the last few I really like the themes amd characters in Black Flag (because we really, really don't have nough pirate games), but I'm not too happy with the annual release thing and would rather they took their time and came out with an amazing game every 2-3 years rather than a rushed and stagnated one every 1 year. (Fyi I can't type for shit on this phone so I hope there aren't that many typos)
No Boshin War love/Sengoku Jidai? I promise it would be awesome.
Gah, need to play this sometime soon. Also, in case people haven't seen it yet, this discussion reminded me of the "birds of truth" project, they're a team of cosplayers that have their own assassin characters based off different time periods and places that have had assassins in them, according to the official canon. Viking one is just silly, and the roman one... What's with the tiiiny little shield on her arm? Not so much with 'why armour there lol', it makes sense to protect, but the design is super-silly.

Also, the whole group appeared in Sneaky Zebra's latest cosplay video, thy look great together in action. Go to 2:15
You know what would also be an interesting Time Period? Assassin's Creed in the Civil War.
...because it's a bracer, not a tiny shield.
But the 'bracer' is shaped like a little scutum which makes it look funny. Also, bracers should protect the inside of the arms as well.
You know what would also be an interesting Time Period? Assassin's Creed in the Civil War.
I guess people would be upset because it would be really reminiscent of Assassins Creed 3 setting.
