I'm getting popups randomly when using windows 7.
I use Firefox as my web browser and this popup come in a IE window and at the same time it ask me if i want to use IE as my normal web browser.
Is it some damn Joke from Windows 7?? or is it some kind of virus?
I got windows 7 today.

Uninstall IE if your on 7.
Open add or remove programs, turn windows features on or off, then uncheck Internet Explorer.
Weird, I don't get this. Maybe it's cause I'm using an upgrade version, or Ultimate. Or maybe it's cause I don't have firefox installed? The world may never know.
Sounds like ad-ware, do a full scan on your anti-virus. If everything fails, reinstall windows 7.

That's just horrible who would make such a virus.
I'd say try uninstalling IE
Just go into internet settings in the control panel and disable checking if IE is the default browser. It's in the programs/software/somethinglikethat tab.
