Possible Trouble With the Law - General

[INDENT][/INDENT]Last night 5 of my friends and I decided to go around paint balling roadsigns, yes I know it's not the smartest idea. One of my friends shot 2 cars and a few others shot houses. This all happened with my gun, one of the cars chased us and caught up to us and they made us clean up their car and they took our names and numbers. Later that night they called everyones parents and told them the situation, except mine because I said we didn't have a house phone or a cellphone (I have a cellphone). They found my number and called me and they are going to speak to my parent. They said that they turned the paint ball gun into the police and that other people complained about getting their houses shot. What should I do? We are all under the age of 17.

When they ask you tell them you didn't shoot anything bad, and that your friends shot the property. Admit that you shot the signs, you know you did, right? Just be honest.

If you're going to shoot anything, that's a problem, unless it's hoops :colbert: Just remember that in the future.

Yeah I shot alittle bit at the signs, It wasn't even my idea to shoot stuff, I had actually left my paintball gun at my friends house and he just showed up with it.

Tell them you shot the signs but you didn't shoot cars. Be honest, it's just petty vandalism. You'll probably (more likely your parents) will end up with a fine.

The people who's car he shot, happened to be husband and wife, 2 separate cars, they weren't the ones that called the cops. I haven't received a call from the cops, neither has anyone else.

You've already defaced public property, private property and possibly been involved in the destruction of private and public property. Not only that you make people who actually paintball look bad on top of that.

Someone shot a paintball right through the back window of my car and shattered it. I thought it was "super" funny. I also thought it was funny paying $500 to replace it and paying to repaint my car because of the shatter marks on it. One day you'll own a car and give a shit about other people's stuff. You deserve whatever you get. Even if you weren't doing it personally, you were still party to it and could have stopped it by simply taking your gun back, saying it was irresponsible, and that would have been the end of it. I wouldn't arrest you, but I would make sure you paid reperations to all the owners and to the city for new signs possibly to teach you a lesson (and signs are expensive)

I'm mainly worried about my ass because it's my gun. The cops where not involved in that, should I feel some relief that the cops haven't contacted me?

People who do that kind of shit blame others. Appologizing isn't going to fix the shatter marks in the paint of the cars though... that's going to cost $$$.

It didn't damage the paint.
