Only if you like roguelikes. It's a decent game if you're into the genre. Playing with friends isn't necessarily more fun, since it's entirely possible you'll be stuck watching someone while dead/the only guy left and everyone else died.
I'm not into the genre but this game is quite awesome. Soundtrack is great too.
