looking for a good adblock
right now I get an to left of me when I visit facepunch and ever odd word is highlighted green and if I click on it it opens up some other page.
YouTube's got ad's left/right and under screen so I can only see like %70 of the screen.
I think Adblock is a good adblock but that's just me

for some reason i am running both adblock and adblock plus but i haven't seen any ads at all so i guess it is working fine

Never saw that, even without ad block. are you sure your computer isnt infected with some adware? try doing a virus scan with something
You should try a malware scan with MBAM. This sounds rather fishy.
Sounds like bettersurf or something like that. I had it a couple months ago and what you said sounds like it. Ad block wont stop it. Google how to remove it

run an antivirus
For FireFox / Chrome = Ghostery
Make sure you select all "trackers" and block.

fairly certain facepunch only has ads when you're not logged in, you've got malware! Hurrah!
