I've had a problem with my display drivers not responding and recovering for some time, but it was rare. One day I was playing GMod when it crashed, then the monitor went black and went on standby. When I turned it back on it was stuck in 4 bit with 640x480 resolution. Eventually it stopped, but now it has come back and I can't fix it. I've deleted and reinstalled the drivers, and when I looked in Device Manager it said "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)". Please help, 4 bit burns my eyes!
Sounds like something that happened way back in da day when I had integrated (November last year)'
What tempreature does your card reach in games?
Maybe the card fried, my 8800GT did the same thing, only worse.
If you have an old card you use to test, or borrow a friends card, if the card works, then your GTS is Borkun
