Since 2 days ago my PC took a long time to boot. When I log in, the screen is completely black. There is no UI, I'm not shown any programs when I press TAB, and I had to run my browser through Task Manager. The Windows tool bar is also missing. So what do I do? I tried restoring, but about half way through I just get an error message and it crashes.

Sorry, scratch that. TAB works, I just didn't have any programs running when I tried it.
Use task manager to run explorer.exe hopefully it brings up the gui.
