It's like a child coming home to his parent with an A in physics and the parent saying "Nice one Jimmy, I bet this will really piss of that Billy kid down the road."

Too bad I can't upload screenshots for some reason.
1. origin hasn't been around as long as steam
Myspace was before facebook [editline]15th August 2012[/editline]
As much as a lot of us don't like Origin, can we be happy for Steam's progress without talking about EA?
Myspace was before facebook
I think he was saying that because Origin is newer, these features that Steam has had for a while are just normal growth of the software.
last update is probably like a facebookish news feed or something, would make sense
In that PC gamer group thing i read Episode 3 for 0.99 cents
So uh... wheres our TF2 update?
So uh... wheres our TF2 update?
I'd guess same time as yesterday give or take 2 hours or so (like yesterday :v:) That'd be in about 5½ or 6 hours
I wonder if Valve carefully vets their press releases to remove anything that could be construed as "omg EP3 ARG"
At least Origin doesn't suspend your downloads.
So how about those community features, huh.
At least Origin doesn't suspend your downloads.
But you can just re-enable all before the game opens. Steam does it in case you're playing a multiplayer game and don't want lag from downloading. No idea why they haven't changed it or even just made an option for it.
I wonder if Valve carefully vets their press releases to remove anything that could be construed as "omg EP3 ARG"
They probably don't bother because even if they did, there would still be people who say it. [editline]16th August 2012[/editline] I hope the new community updates work a little more fluidly. I really don't like web interfaces that have distinct page changes. Especially when they're embedded in a program as one of the features.
