As much as a lot of us don't like Origin, can we be happy for Steam's progress without talking about EA?

We could, if Billy didn't spend all day hammering on our doors telling us how Jimmy is a mean jerk and how he should have gotten the A instead, a day that could have been spent studying.

I think he was saying that because Origin is newer, these features that Steam has had for a while are just normal growth of the software.

But you can just re-enable all before the game opens.
Steam does it in case you're playing a multiplayer game and don't want lag from downloading. No idea why they haven't changed it or even just made an option for it.

I hope the new community updates work a little more fluidly. I really don't like web interfaces that have distinct page changes. Especially when they're embedded in a program as one of the features.

I've found myself just alt+tabbing from games to download in the background, especially if I'm playing like GTA IV or metro 2033, something with single player.
