Sounds retarded to me, just shitty planning. Not only they're doing 3 regional tourneys at the same date, they're putting it out on the TI3 date as well, which has been out there forever now. For a multi-billion company this just goes to show how abysmal their organizing skills are. That or they just don't care because they still sort of live on wow money.
How come there aren't any other events that overlap like this? There was a single instance of something like this in sc2(as far as I can remember) with MLG and Dreamhack. Look at RIOT, they managed to plan around TI3 without any troubles. I can't believe blizzard is even trying to make excuses here.
It makes me so fucking sad when I read about shit like this. Such big companies pull of such pathetic moves, it just can't wrap my fucking head around this shit. If blizzard don't care about the tourney, they should at least care about the sponsors if they have any fucking decency left in them.
Man, blizzard went from making fantastic games with fantastic support and fantastic lores to a shitty unorganized piece of shit of a company.
Diablo 3 was a trainwreck, warcraft lore butchered by world of warcraft, starcraft lore is so fucking weak compared to BW. And now they're destroying their multiplayer strongside. Get your fucking shit together blizz
