I understand the appeal, I'm just not very interested or good at those types of games. Those that are seem to be good at it though. Sometimes to a ferocious level.

I dislike DOTA 2 because it's a hard game to play when everyone takes it way to seriously. Also I have like 4 keys that I've been trying to get rid off if you want them add me.

Been playing a lot of DOTA 2 in the last couple of weeks, really starting to enjoy it.
If you'd like to play it I would suggest only going All Random/Least Played queues, I really just don't find the game fun when its All Pick and everyone just chooses heroes they are really good with when I like to try heroes I haven't played much and want to get to know better.
At least in AR/LP, the playing ground feels much more like an even playing field.

All pick is more for when you have a group of friends so that you can pick and organize a good team of heroes. Playing with randoms is painful, especially when you get on a team with the notorious "mid or feed" Russian player.

Pretty much. That is why I hate playing AP even with 1-2 friends, you always get put against groups of 2-4 serious players who all pick strong hero combinations and have tactics and organisation whereas we just pick what we want because we are just having fun, then end up getting destroyed.
I find I have loads more fun and the games are generally more balanced with AR or LP.
And it will just keep on growing.
