What do you think about this update which includes achievements and several other things ? In my opinion it's quite cool, but they shall change/update engine to 09.
They supposedly removed all mods including gungame and such, that's all I ever played.
Now CSS looks a bit like TF2 with the Scoreboard and shit.
CS:S update? Trying now.
Yeah for me it's kinda strange, they even said that CS:S isn't full of cartoonish graphic, sadly it's.
When's the update? Haven't played CS:S forever.

From what I know, it started updating today.
I like it. Doesn't seem like much has changed, but then again I haven't played in a long time.

Shit, I would play it now, but i have Blues clues snapped in so my little sister doesn't start to wail like a fucking injured beast.
Well, I raged at steam because it downloaded the german version where instead of people dying and blood coming out, they get down and put their hands on their heads. FFFFFFFFUUUUUUU-
But for the 5 minutes I played, the only large difference was the UI and the reg was different.
It's not an update for me, I had the beta. :smug:

They removed the beta and put that into the regular.

on topic, I hated it. It broke all the mods
when you kill someone,for me he doesn't die,he just lays down on the ground:confused:
This is fucking bullshit, wow a great game ruined by updates
I cant play it for 10 minutes with out lag. :frown:
PROS:
- Score board looks impressive
- Stats, achievements etc are an awesome add-on
- New console commands to disabled/change some of the new updates
- Crash commands gone
- Dual-Core support
- Source 2009 engine makes the game look sweet
CONS:
- Avatars not needed
- Hitboxes located inside people not forward
- Rego horribly off
- Servers which weren't ready suffered badly
- Name command won't work
- Explosion for de_ maps look cartoony
- Lag on about all servers
- No "Classic" mode for background
ALL UP:
Okay update but really needs some minor improvements, at least transform the new engine into the old engine so people are happy again
