Ok, so, changing theme. Replaced explorerframe.dll from new theme. Didn't work. replaced with ole explorer frame file. restart. explorer.exe failed. tried to restart in safe mode, same thing.
Apparently the explorer path was broken somehow.
What can I do? I have a system restore point set, but I cant access it if i cant startup...

Wow. It worked. Ok, excellent. Restoring to the point I made [i]before[/i] i fucked with the system files.
