A friend of mine just got a 5850 for his computer and is having some odd driver related problems.
The driver installer from AMD will not even begin the installation process when prompted. For some reason, clicking the "Install" button crashes the EXE and does nothing else. I've heard of problems involving AMD drivers before, but I'm not sure what to do about this.
I could provide some screen shots if needed, but I'd have to contact the friend to get them first. For now, here is some basic information about the computer:

Tried it many times, didn't work.
