A 75-YEAR-OLD New Jersey man has been charged with running a prostitution ring that used elderly residents of his housing complex as sex workers.
James Parham and 66-year-old Cheryl Chaney have also been charged with allowing people to use crack cocaine in their apartments.
Englewood Police Chief Arthur O'Keefe told NBC 4 New York that Mr Parham employed a mix of young women and older residents.
Mr O'Keefe said that Mr Parham facilitated sex and drug use in common areas of the complex, and that some elderly residents were afraid that speaking up may cost them their lives.

Because in every Animal that walks upright, the Deficiency of the Fluids that fill the Muscles appears first in the highest Part: The Face first grows lank and wrinkled; then the Neck; then the Breast and Arms; the lower Parts continuing to the last as plump as ever: So that covering all above with a Basket, and regarding only what is below the Girdle, it is impossible of two Women to know an old from a young one. And as in the dark all Cats are grey, the Pleasure of corporal Enjoyment with an old Woman is at least equal, and frequently superior, every Knack being by Practice capable of Improvement.
Is there a clear and concise explanation for why prostitution is illegal in the US?
It's perfectly legal here in New Zealand society hasn't crumbled into chaos yet

Because it is frequently popular to enforce delusional (and often very twisted) perceptions of innocence and purity by condemning seemingly impure things through anything but innocence and purity, usually making it grow in size tenfold as a result. It has been a very long lasting fashion trend among humanity.
Wow, prostitutes and blow? These old people are fucking hardcore.

The place they're from is called Englewood. Had it been Inglewood, it would have been too perfect.

I'd assume the big one is STDs.
And possibly women's rights, as in sexualizing women makes it harder to take them seriously? I dunno.

Yeah, basically what genkaz92 said.

We've got a stick up our butt about sex. I imagine bloodsport will make a return before the suits in Washington are finally comfortable with the idea of people getting naked together.

It would be difficult for me to agree any more. Up to what degree are we going to demonize sexuality and promote violence before some form of reconsideration is reached? Makes you wonder if there is an actual limit.
A rather interesting thought just entered my mind: Violence is a different way of sexual gratification afterall, we are practically channeling the same thing into a much more undesirable form instead of promoting the actual sexuality.
