I once hummed the Heavy Rain theme and imagined QTEs popping up while making myself breakfast.
Others had tried to use a 'gravity gun' to pick up food.
Lol, really.
Remindes me of that thread we had here a long time ago: you know you play to much video games when...
This is probably based off some "You know you play too much videogames when..." thread anyways. Edit: or the subjects were shitting them.
Maybe thinking about using a search button for a split second ok, but actually reaching out for it? bullshit
I enjoy beating people to death with a crowbar and sexposing them with my physgun. Damn, wasted my 5000th post on this shit.
A combination of playing Garrysmod a lot and sleep deprivation led to me trying to find a Q menu IRL. That was when I realized that no, life does not have a Q menu and I can't just hop up wooden boxes to get over a wall, and that I will have to physically climb it.
one time i tried to jump on a mushroom because it had teeth I'm real messed up man
I once punched someone. [editline]21st September 2011[/editline] No actually not once, multiple times.
The only game to ever affect me was braid. Completed the reversed time world (3?) at about 1 am. so after that I was talking to my brother, and when i couldn't hear what he said, I actually walked backwards so that he would rewind and repeat himself.
That's not something because of games, that's just the people spending too much time playing them.
I was writing once, and made a mistake, so I went to hit "Edit" to go to "Undo", which I swear were there, but then I realised I just hit the paper with my finger. Not game related, but similar.
I do the button reaching stuff sometimes, but most of all a game I play for hours on end, I'll hear random sounds from it irl when I'm out and about. Was weird hearing a banshee strafe sound from Halo when I was young
That's not something because of games, that's just the people spending too much time playing them.
Definitely agree. If you feel that you're playing IRL, you should lay low on the games for a while.
Almost all of the 42 people questioned reported
lol
Yes. Remember that kid who pulled his entire family out of the car when it turned over, because he learned in video games that it could catch fire and explode? That also counts.
lol
I know, aren't large sample sizes great? Especially with such an objective means of validating them and processing them.
I sometimes think "I better quicksave" before I do something potentially stupid. I also drove on the sidewalk once and killed a dozen people but they haven't caught me yet.
I used to hear headcrabs on a daily basis when HL2 first came out.
I often find myself waving my arms in front of my face like if I was in an FPS.
Others had tried to use a 'gravity gun' to pick up food.
That thing exists? I should go get me one of those!
Because i don't have mental issues I know what is in real life and what only exists in games.
I have the reverse problem. I hit somebody in GTA and got out to give them my insurance information.
Because i don't have mental issues I know what is in real life and what only exists in games.
So almost the entire FP community has a mental disability?
Because i don't have mental issues I know what is in real life and what only exists in games.
Uh, you clearly didn't get the point of this.
I realized that I need to stop playing CoD when I saw a small plane and instatly heard the lock-on sound :v: Be-be-bep bepepepebeeep
Lol this has to be BS. I mean yeah I sometimes do this but only with my friends who will get the reference.
Does anyone have those days where you're bored as fuck and all you can do is look around and go 'okay put a portal there and there'
I try to control+s when I finish writing something.
