• System Restore Stuck On "System Restore is initializing..."

So the other day I had an issue and decided to do a System Restore. It goes through the normal process and gets to the Windows 7 screen, saying "Shutting down..." and what not. But then it goes to "Please wait while your Windows fies and settings are being restored (System Restore is initializing...)" and it just stays there. The icon going forever in a infinite loading loop and it never goes anywhere. I forced restarted my PC, and attempted to do the System Restore a second time. Same problem. And now it's corrupted my graphics drivers (lighting sources in games break and cause epileptic spazzes/blocky & broken lights). So I decided maybe that restore point I tried both times was just screwy. So I tried a different restore point and its still stuck. I never had an issue with System Restore before. What the fuck is happening? :/ [editline]dafadsfblk[/editline] Ok this time, my computer actually restarted only to be greeted with "System Restore didn't restore properly." :l
Just reinstall the video drivers to fix that one problem. Why were you using system restore to fix exactly

I did do a re-install of the video drivers (even uninstalling and installing them again) and its still there. I don't remember what I was trying to fix though.
Sounds like one of the system files is corrupted. Open command prompt and type "sfc /scannow" without quotation marks and let it do the scan
