But Black Ops and Modern Warfare 3 are much better and newer.

No, the problem is that MW2 is $10 pricier than games released close to it.
People like you need to stop trying to seem like they're modern day Einsteins compared to the rest of people.
There's no reason at all for a game to be $30 two years after release. Most games are $20 after only a year.
Actually, if it was 5€ or maybe 10€, I would probably buy it.
The singleplayer was very fun.
Problem is the ehm... ''alternate'' multiplayer has more gamemodes, mods, and dedictated servers than the original legit one.

You need to ask? Case in point: a 3 (?) year old game which has had two sequels (including one direct sequel) costs the same as Portal 2, which was released just this year.
Activision doesn't like to reduce prices on anything, let alone all of franchise at the same time.
Still $45 USD? WHAT A BARGAIN!
