I upgraded my CPU (from Athlon XP to a Phenom X3), motherboard, RAM (from 1.5gb DDR to 2gb DDR2) and graphics card (from an AGP Radeon HD X1600 to a PCIe Radeon 4800). About the only thing still the same is the power supply, hard drive and dvd drive.
While it does boot successfully, is it in my interests to reformat and reinstall, to clear out the old drivers? Last reformat was only a few months ago, so no unwanted software has built up.
Is it a good idea to reinstall?

Shouldn't need to if you remove them fully, right?
It's a good thing to re-install after a mobo change.
