I currently have a MacBook Pro 13" that someone bought over eBay, but they sent me the money then dropped off the face of the planet and haven't contacted me in over two weeks, which is a problem because I have no idea where to ship it.
Anyways, when I finally get rid of this 13", I was going to get the 15", but don't know if I should wait for the next upgrade, or whether I should just get the 15" now.
Thanks for your opinions guys.
With Ivy Bridge coming out, I can bet new macbooks will come right after. Wait a bit.
I'll be waiting for older ones to drop so I can get a new one. My Unbiody is starting to show it's 6 year age.
I'd say it's probably a good idea to get a 15 inch now. It's a very powerful gaming machine if you max out the specs, I own one myself and run bootcamp flawlessly. The new 15 inches will most likely follow the macbook air form factor with a retina display, and most likely won't have a dedicated GPU. If you want to game or edit video I'd say get one now, otherwise wait for the new slim form factor around late June.
I'm running on a Core Duo and I can run a Windows 7 virtual machine and other tasks just fine.
You're good bra'.
The new one that's coming out in a few months with Ivy Bridge is supposed to be a total redesign so you might wanna wait for one of those, but the current one's fantastic as it is.
