Hello everyone. I was thinking of building my first computer. One of my friends told me to come here for help. Basically, I am not so good at telling what is better, but basically, if someone would like to point me in the right direction in which parts are good to buy. My budget on building this computer consists around $800-$1000. If anyone has any suggestions or even a full layout on what I should get, please reply back. Thank you :)

Don't feel bad, we are all mad at Garry for moving the subforums to the bottom instead of the top [editline]1st February 2011[/editline] I'll whip up a build though
give me a bit I'll wip up one too
Do you need a monitor, OS, keyboard, speakers, or mouse?
do you need an OS? mouse keyboard speakers monitor, etc? [editline]2nd February 2011[/editline] I've got everything done, all I've got to know is whether or not you need a those mouse, keyboard, etc. [editline]2nd February 2011[/editline] [url]http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=16239646[/url] here it is with all the stuff. just a little over budget but if you don't need say a monitor or keyboard that will drive you down a bit

Wouldn't it be a good idea to wait for the i5 gen 2 fiasco to be sorted out? He'll get way more performance for the same money.
in his other thread he said that he'll wait so I guess he's waiting
