SSD or HDD doesn't have any impact on how the game runs. Unless you've got a horribly outdated, barely working HDD, which barely even loads the game before you hit the ground.
With such a competitive atmosphere this game has I'm surprised "run everything at low" wasn't mentioned at all.
Not only does it increase FPS but it makes things like players and such a lot easier to see for me.
I don't even get the point of this article. The things listed in that article are your fairly standard mid-range specs for any computer built recently, there's nothing about it that's PUBG-specific, except for the RAM which they've only recommended 8. 8GBs is fine if you're playing a well-optimised game that doesn't absolutely chew up memory, which PUBG very much isn't.
