Hey folks, I am having a bit of trouble with a new setup and I'm hoping you can help.
I just received a 15ft HDMI cable that I bought because I wanted to run two screens so that while I game and such I could watch movies or listen to music on my TV through duel monitors. I have a 21" monitor and a 37" HDTV that are now linked via my graphics card. My monitor and TV are both connected through HDMI (the TV is using a DVI HDMI adapter). I wanted to have the ability to have the TV to have its own sound separate from my speakers for my monitor. When I use my windows sound mixer, I can see the TV's sound and can even hear sound test through the TV's speaker so I know the sound is working. I haven't the slightest clue on how I can do this. An example would be if it is possible to play a movie/song on my main monitor, and drag it to my TV and have the sound move to the TV.
Think anyone can help?
Edit: I just now realized my mistake on the topic title...should be "Dual" instead of "Duel".
