I really fucking hope those in charge of this farce of a port get fired and they don't do this shit ever again.

I'm pretty sure GmG offered refunds early on.
GMG did but that was if it still didn't work after the first pc patch.

Didn't AC have a pretty bad PC launch as well? Like, not as bad as Arkham Knight, but was still pretty bad?
I was lucky and could play it relatively fine so I've already 100% the game but the fact that it took them this long is abysmal

I heard both City and Origins had problems at lunch, but both were fine back when I grabbed them on sale, except for that one time I had to restart from checkpoint in Penguin's lair in Origins.

Really doubt anyone actually working on the port wanted it released in the state it was, far more likely to have been a business/management decision to make sure the pc version could ride off the same promotion as the console versions were getting.

My biggest problem for AC was buying the game from a retailer and then finding out that the CD key was already in use. couldn't return it cos they don't refund PC games. Took like a month for WB to give me a new cd key.
