I bought this when it came out in 2006 hoping it would fill the hole that Star Wars: Galaxies left...Was a mindless grindfest, the chip wars were okay but it was just a clusterfuck and the only thing you got from winning them was access to the mines for X hours, which meant you had to go AFK for the next few hours setting up macros to automine for you. The grinding was extra frustrating because you had to level attack, defense, strength type skills separately, and if you didn't know that, your character became 'gimped' at a higher level and the only real solution was to make a new one.
Oh this brings back terrible memories. Played it when it was still being translated from Korean and boy howdy, Cushie ain't lying when he said it was a turbo grindfest. You had to grind everything, from attack, to shield, to even health (I think) and defense IE you had to be hit for it to go up. And if you didn't grind it equally, it'd take longer as monsters have harder times hitting you if you're a higher level than them, but equally leveled monsters have no problem at all. Didn't level that Shield? Good luck getting shit on/spending millions for potions. And those 'wars' that pit all the races together for dominance of that crystal chamber was a case of cheesing the logout system and having a billion potions on auto-use. Lets not forget the RNG in getting those fucking jetpacks. It was not a game for the casual.

I played a bit of it, and it seemed like the spells were there just to say you had spells, and just wasn't that great.
Oh boy... This game was truly centered around pay-2-win when I picked it up. Did you just die and lose 15% experience (2-3 month grind)? If you buy this magic pill from the cash shop, you can get SOME of it back. What's that? A 2% success rate for crafting not good enough for you? Raise it to 10% with this item from the cash shop! Then there was the pot glitch where if you picked up and placed a stack of health pots on cooldown, that stack would instantly cooldown and be ready to use again. Getting rushed and one-shotted by speed and damage hackers was really annoying as well. There'd be a dot flying at you faster than a jetpack and you'd be dead in the blink of an eye with the aggressor halfway across the map before you fall. The game was practically all risk, no reward. There was no content above level 50 for the English localization either. Well, I never hit 50, but still.
