I don't think Treyarch will ever be able to sever Zombies from Call of Duty which is kind of sad. It clearly has so much quality that it needs to be it's own standalone title.
I love how much marketing they do for a game that isn't going to look even remotely like the prerendered trailer

if the amount of effort they put into marketing was put into the game imagine what they could do
what do you mean? Treyarch's zombies pretty much looks exactly like that.

Some people are still stuck in a time before PS4 and XB1 came out, so when they see the graphics of mainstream games they assume it's pre-rendered rather than actually get with the times and realise the PS3 and X360 were made redundant as early as 2013.

This is Treyarch, not Infinity Ward
They deliver
The only thing I really dislike about zombies compared to Ghosts' Extinction is that it's the same exact thing.
Go in a large map, do survival or easter egg hunt (which is pretty difficult to do), solve easter egg, get special powerup, and die (from after solving the egg or playing survival).
Advanced Warfare twisted this around by including an actual ending if you solve the easter egg, but it's the same thing with some minor funsies added.
I liked Extinction because you're continually going on a set path (despite fighting waves of aliens) with an easy-to-get conclusion. I wished CoD's zombies was a bit more like Extinction or Left 4 Dead where it feels more like a story campaign rather than a horde mode with a complicated easter egg.
this one seems like it's mixing it up in the general sense a bit at least with some boss enemies but who knows where it'll go in terms of a story or whatever.
I don't really like an ending to maps, but I do enjoy how in AW you can't just sit in a corner of a room with your buddies and camp out until the zombies just become too hard to kill and you all die. (that or one guy fucks up and screws it over like me)
0:36 TES weapon equip noise. Also The Darkness reference?
Speaking of CoD, does anybody even play AW still? I heard the MP died very, very quickly and my game can't find any matches.

No, don't you know? This is Call of Duty. We have to say bad stuff about it. Call of Duty can never do anything good.
