I said and did stupid shit all the time at that age. Hell, I say and do stupid shit now. Calling him stupid for shit he did at 14 is not only dumb, but hypocritical as fuck.

I'm not calling him stupid, and I'm not saying I didn't say stupid shit when I was his age, but he was on a whole other level. Not to mention he is famous and has millions of people reading what he said which no doubt pressured him into trying to sound smart and philosophical, it's a shame that he was made fun of, but when you are in the spotlight I think the smartest thing to do is to keep it simple as opposed to trying to blow peoples minds.
Honestly, for his age, he said some things that were reasonably smart.
