My computer starts up fine i can see the MOBO picture perfectly. But when the Microsoft corporation screen starts loading i dont see a green bar, the letters "Microsoft Corporation" are faded and it stays there. It doesent load up windows.
Specs:
Windows Vista Ultimate x64
AMD Phenom 2 x 4 3.2 Ghz 955 BE
Saphire HD Radeon 4870
GD70-790FX mobo
6 GB Ram
Was it working previously or was this a new install?
Have you added any new hardware recently?
Have you tried reinstalling Windows or even booting off the Windows DVD?
Run Memtest86+ from a bootable CD to eliminate memory problems.

After the BIOS screen, but before the green progress bar, mash the F8 key and in the menu that appears, choose "Safe Mode" and see if it will boot without drivers.
Ok Safe mode loads that list of files and the list stops moving so that doesent do anything.
No new hardware this computer has been running fine for the past 4 months.
Maybe it is the memory but i have a 64 bit processor so can i have a memtest for a 64bit?
