Fuck off. If he couldn't control himself, that's his problem. No one forced him to start gambling. Go get help. I hate how people try to impose their personal problems and beliefs on others via law.

No one forced him to start being depressed. Go get help." Your words in other context. Addiction is not a goddamned on/off switch. Legislative measures being enacted admittedly wouldn't do anything, but disregarding a valid problem as something so trivial is why people with mental health issues are stigmatized and why people don't get help in the first place.

I know it sucks having an addiction but why should the minority ruin it for the majority? This case may not be the best example but it really annoys me when other people have to go out of there way because someone is trying to pass the blame instead of seeking help when they know they have a problem.

That's the whole issue. And how exactly would his proposal ruin it for the majority? The majority doesn't bet 100 pounds every 10 seconds. 10 at most, I would assume.
Which is why I said this case may not be the best example.
They shouldn't be so well-inclined to establish these disposable highstreet bookies containing these 25p piss machines in locations where people find themselves most desperate for money and exhausted of work because that is what kind of demographic we are seeing here.
They really should start cracking down on gambling ads on TV
