What are you talking about? Borderlands didn't really have that much elements of a shooter asides from the fact that it was first person, and you shot guns. Most of the other game elements were RPG and it was pretty damn good.

A high budget doesn't really guarantee a good game, just look at Star Wars The Old Republic.
If it wasn't for 80% of the guns you find being complete dogshit and a paperthin plot with tacked on DLCs, I would have considered buying this.

I wonder how they identify the russian version in the multiplayer code, could also be based on something like localisation.txt in CoD or could be something more complex, who knows
