Alright. My rich ass friend, as in he's rich (parents driving to LA on hummers and all that), asked me to build a "fast ass" computer for about 1800 dollars (Tax and shipping included).
I'm in California so yeah. Says he's going to be gaming on his 1080p HDTV.

Check if there's anything to improve, etc. If you need an area code to check the tax then use this: 94101. That's one of San Francisco's area code.
did he give you the money already?
keep the computer and leave the state.
get another one of those fans and put the thors hammer in push/pull :)
edit: just looked at thors hammer specs, doesnt support 1156
CPU can be better, I would go with 1 5970 over 2 5870s cause it save mon.....nevermind that. If they're gunna be using it on a TV may as well get a blu-ray drive as well. Thats all I could think of.
Double lifetime warranty and free shipping.

Also maybe the Freezer 7 pro or Cool master hyper 212 plus instead of the Thors hammer. There half the price and are great top ranked coolers.
Alright, just updated. Anything else?
You may as well have 6GB RAM in tri channel rather than 4GB

The p55 chipset doesn't support tri channel. 4 GB has dual channel which is support by the motherboard.
Anyways, he's never going to use more then 4 GB.
get 2 of these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835213005 and put the 212 in push/pull
rich ass friend and only $1800 for a computer?
really?

He's rich but doesn't mean he has to spend shit loads on a computer. Anyways, I said I could build him a better computer for him then he could get on Alienware (his original idea).
Thor's hammer is great, you just need an aftermarket bracket for the 1156
But if you have that much money, might as well go for a megahalem
