• "No such interface supported" (Windows 7 Explorer not working)

I don't know how I just fucked my computer over, but now when I try to open Explorer, I get the same error message as the thread's title. Currently running both a virus scan and CCleaner to try and resolve this mess. Does anybody else have any ideas on how to fix this? EDIT: All my shortcuts now end with ".lnk" and don't work anymore. This is beyond horrible. EDIT 2: Just restarted after a CCleaner cleanup and virus scan and it's still not working. Somebody please help me already.
http://www.sevenforums.com/general-discussion/197156-errors-no-such-interface-supported.html ?
That's exactly what I did and nothing's changed. [editline]28th November 2014[/editline] I FIXED IT! All I had to do was give myself permission in the registry editor under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT and boom! Explorer works again! But now I have to remove ".lnk" in all the shortcut names.
Which virus scanner are you using, not all virus scanners are equal.
