• Matchbox or Hot Wheels cars?

I was talking to my brother the other day about shit we liked growing up and toy cars were the topic of conversation. He had this fancyass hot wheels set with something you can roll the cars through and they shoot out and do a loop and all that crazy shit. I liked it, but I hated the hot wheels cars themselves. I dunno what my opinion was on them when I was a kid, but as an adult they look like what you get when you ask some kid to draw a car. Matchbox cars I like because they're boring and shit, but I don't remember having a lot of them growing up. I know they're a british company, are they more popular in the UK than in America? So yea, weigh in on this and tell me if you think matchbox and hot wheels is better. And don't be a smartass and say JOHNNY LIGHTNING MICRO MACHINEES
Matchbox and Hot Wheels are under the same roof now, both are owned by Mattel. Hot Wheels are more focused on hot rods and semi-realistic perportions and Matchbox is mostly work trucks and more realistic cars.
Always preferred Matchbox. Then again, I used to play with planes.
hot wheels always looked cooler, so hot wheels
Don't even know what Matchbox cars are, so I'll say Hot Wheels. I still have mine!
Whichever was easier to break
poundland toy cars > both
When I was a kid I liked both so that my cars could have a lot of diversity.
matchbox didn't have an animated movie series. checkmate
Matchbox for having a more interesting vehicle selection - Hot Wheel's dull obsession with racing makes most of their vehicles way too typical.
matchbox
Which ever feels better in my arse
