• Questions about iPhone/iPod touch (streaming, youtube)

Hi everyone, I was considering possibly getting an iPhone. Few questions: While I'm viewing youtube on the iPhone, can I log into my youtube account and rate, favourite and comment on videos? As well as see my account's favourites? Can I stream music from my PC (which has iTunes), to listen to music on the iPhone? Is the iPhone actually any good at calling people? It doesn't look very ergonomic. Thanks for your answers :)
1. Yes 2. I think so 3. Yes, imo
Oh shit, thanks for the bloody quick reply :)
For the second part, there's a pretty neat program called Simplify Media, allows you to stream music easily from your computer at home over Wi-Fi or 3G. However, a data plan is strongly advised unless you want to pay out the ass for extra data usage, since streaming full bitrate music over 3G could use up much data.
So it would cost me to use wifi or 3G to stream over my own network at home? Lame. Thanks for the info though.
How much does dataplans cost in US? I heard that they cost more there than in Finland. 9.90€ for Unlimited 1Mb/s down with 6 months contract. And 3G USB modem for free. 9.90€ a month for unlimited data with unlimited speed for iPhone, but you gotta have the 2 years contract. (9.90 EUR = 13.7254 USD)
No, it would only cost you money if you use 3G connection. Wi-Fi is obviously free. And if where you work, for example, has a Wi-Fi network, you can use it and it will also be free. It will only cost money in the event that you're using the cellphone towers for connection, basically.

Only choice we have is Verizon, and they charge you $30 bucks for unlimited data on top of texting and calls. We have other phone companies too, but none of them have data services. I would switch to Verizon, but they suck. And their phones blow. And they try to squeeze every penny out of you any way they can.

Richest nation in the world has no decent wireless internet providers? We have almost nation wide 3G coverage, and HSDPA in many "states". :/ Well, at least you guys can bomb the shit out of Finland.
I think sweden, finland etc have pretty fantastic internet compared to the rest of the world, with austrailia having one of the worst.
I concur, but Africa is mainly worse off than Australia.

At least ones that don't charge an arm and leg. None of them find our region very profitable, which would make sense, since 30% of the population lives 10 miles from each other.
