I didn't care for this game very much, but holy shit, did they drastically change some things. Downloading now.
Meh, I bought this game on a whim, Getting pretty good though, I bought the game from the website not steam though...
I bought the game a while ago, but didn't start playing until after a number of these changes were introduced... I completed two "continents," basically meaning I beat the game two times. In short: lots of good ideas, bland/boring/pointless execution. For some reason it's really easy to just play for hours without noticing but it's horribly uninteresting. The game structure is just... poorly designed. Basically it's a game about grinding to get more powerful to ultimately fight an evil overlord, but every time you get more powerful, so does everything else. There's no sense of progression. Not to mention combat is dead simple. To the point of irrelevance. Both times I beat the "overlord" by standing completely still and holding down left and right mouse for about five or six minutes.
