Virtual Heroes has previously used the Unreal engine to develop America's Army 3, a first-person Call of Duty-style video game designed to promote recruitment to the armed services
Seriously BBC?
They need DARPA to make a game. With all the other shit they put out, I wouldn't be surprised if it was amazing.
Does BBC do any research before posting news?
Obviously not.
Obviously they're bringing back Polybius as an XBLA title.
Seriously BBC?
They can't tell the difference between Call of Duty and Virtual Battle Space 2, what do you expect?
Why can I imagine the FBI making the agents play CSI Miami for training
They can't tell the difference between Call of Duty and Virtual Battle Space 2, what do you expect?
or maybe it's because, you know, as a news agency, they use the comparison that makes the most sense for the most people
or maybe it's because, you know, as a news agency, they use the comparison that makes the most sense for the most people
"Most people" aren't going to care about the FBI licensing a game engine.
I can imagine it being an extremely hard warzone simulator used to train and test out tactics and such. Me want.
Wait, Mass Effect 3 is on the unreal engine?
Wait, Mass Effect 3 is on the unreal engine?
All the mass Effects are.
The graphics, the physics, will be soooooo rrreeeaaaaallllllllllll for training. Seems nice.
I guess makes sense. Police units might have different reqs to the army which uses BIS' VBS2
Their first game leaked [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eE_msAKWdOs[/hd]
Seriously BBC?
That's like saying Trackmania is a racing game like Forza. :v:
I love to play simulators that were funded by governments for real workers. They usually have alot of different things to do.
I bet they'll use it to create fake camera footage that they will ''leak'' to the news when they fuck up. They got caught using ARMA 2! That's why they need a new engine!
Yeah, those are the big three unreal engine games right there.
Mass Effect does use Unreal Engine.
I hope this will be like Moonbase Alpha except you play as FBI agents and army medics.
Yeah, those are the big three unreal engine games right there.
haha yeah what a bunch of dumbasses listing recently released games that use the unreal engine
Awesome, so now finally someone might make a new hardcore realistic tactical shooter? Forget Kickstarter, it's all happening at the FBI!
haha yeah what a bunch of dumbasses listing recently released games that use the unreal engine
How dare they spread correct and relevant information.
Seriously BBC?
If only AA3 was something like CoD, maybe it'd actually be fun. What a terribad game compared to AA2 :/
Does BBC do any research before posting news?
Admit it, to the regular guy on the street you really dont have to when it comes to games.
