You know, i'm considering going back to CRT's and wait for OLED monitors (or better) to come.
I'm just never "wowed" by monitors anymore, and i'm starting to loose all interest in them too

You're considering using CRT in 2017?
Are things okay back at home?

Life is rough and, even if it's just for a moment, CRTs can bring back those old simpler times.
CRTs also double as a weapon in case someone breaks into your house

Not sure about it being a weapon, but if a burglar saw one they might give up and leave a few bucks as they leave.
If you want a CRT, go hunt down a Sony FW900. 24", 1920x1200 at 85hz, or 1440p at 80hz... Sure, it weighs as much as an old car, but the image quality is incredible and damn near as close to zero latency as you can get. I still have mine in the shed, considering breaking it out again but I'm kind of stuck on having a 30-32" screen size given my huge desk and seating distance.
Would love to get my hands on a 32" 10bit lcd though, I've never had the chance to try any of these modern high end monitors. I still use a 32" 1080p tv daily and have my 24" Benq from many many years ago as a secondary. I don't game much any more but I'd have a field day with a proper high end screen.
