I am investing in a new graphics card (I am currently running on an ATI X800), I am leaning tward the GeForce 7600 becauce of price. I am not gonna spend over 450$ on a Graphics card. Is the GeForce 7600 a good card that I can run Source and Battlefield 2 on max graphics?
Depends, is it PCI, PCI-E, or...*shudder*...AGP
If it's PCI-E then get it. AGP? Don't. Make sure your motherboard has a PCI slot though. If it doesn't, you can't get a PCI card.
I have a 6800 and it runs HL2/mods on high with full anti-aliasing, HDR, everything.
