Hey, everytime someone messages me on Steam while playing bioshock, or when I enter the steam UI in bioshock it freezes. Sound doesent freeze just video. Cant do anything but listen and close the process loosing all my progress. I had to set the game to play in Windows XP compatability mode because my sound wouldn't work. I got the game on Steam.
Turn off steam UI for ingame

my bioshock steam crashes just on the bioshock logo, I cant even get it to run on my machine, which sucks as I really want to play it in all its glory on decent graphic settings
