Do it. Fucking launch. See how it plays out. Lets call their goddamn bluff. If we get serious and actually begin to amass troops in response to their threats, maybe we can finally stare them down and move towards peace. If we can effectively establish that their bluffs and threats are no longer going to net them food aid or reduced sanctions, we might actually be able to force them into pursuing diplomatic channels. Either way, we can't really afford to keep playing this game forever. At some point there has to be a reversal on who is playing defensively. They are either crazy or they aren't. If they are crazy, it is best we start a fight before they are better armed in terms of nuclear ordinance. If they aren't crazy, then they will back down and we can avoid bloodshed possibly entirely. I'm guessing this is the point of the war games, but I'm not sure the war games are as threatening as they need to be.

If a bloody ground war ever does break out, their million-man army is going to be in shambles with in the first months of their offensive. They'll fight against a large populace with minor military backgrounds. Their army and equipment is going to go beyond their 'airspace' and air superiority could be quickly established by the US and allies. Supply routes can't even extend beyond the city of Seoul because there are hardly any major infrastructure connecting the two countries that either side could use to move supplies. And even if they overcome that, they'll get the pigshit bombed out of. And lets not forget that the last war that the DPRK has ever fought in was in 1950 whereas they're going to end up against forces that have fought in Iraq/Afghanistan, Russians that may have had time in Chechnya and Georgia and China whose Army is lightyears ahead in North Korea in terms of training. Their lack of 'veterans' would mean that their million-man army is going to consist of nothing of just starving citizens equipped with an empty stomach and a loaded rifle that has never been under fire.
