Hey guys, since yesterday my PC keeps crashing and i have a blue screen with the following messages : Memory_Management kernel_data_inpage_error I ran a memory test but it says everything is ok, i uninstalled everything except chrome. It's a all new PC (less than a month old) and windows 8 worked perfectly until a crash occured in Guild wars 2. Since then the BSOD happens quit often even in safe mode. Yesterday i formated a part of my HDD and i had no BSOD until today again, when i installed a few softwares again. I formated it again but the BSOD kept happening. Specs : Intel Core i5 2500 Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced Corsair CX Bronze Modulaire - 600W Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 - SATA III 6 Gb/s - 1 To Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 Vapor-X - OC With Boost - 3 Go MSI Z77A-G43 Crucial Ballistix Tactical DDR3 2 x 4 Go PC12800 I had the beta ATI pilot but i had no problem with it until now. (13.7 i think) Got another blue screen while running sfc /scannow It keeps crashing and i can't find the issue. Edit : when i try to run an antivirus scan (Malware/MSE) or a windows files scan (sfc) it BSOD edit : i'm gonna boot on my recovery usb and try to fix it.
Update : full windows 8 reset from CD, hopefully everything is back to normal. I'll monitor my pc for a few days and close this thread if everything is ok.
Happened again. I don't know what to do. [editline]11th August 2013[/editline] Update : i ran Memtest86+ and i got a lot of red :v: i think my RAM modules have a problem. What i have : Ballistix Tactical DDR3 2 x 4 Go PC12800 8-8-8-24 1.5V 1600Mhz I set everything right in my BIOS except 8-8-8-24, it shows 9-9-9-24 in memtest86+ Can it be the reason ? If it is, how to change it ? [editline]11th August 2013[/editline] Found a way to change DRAM settings in BIOS using XMP. Now my BIOS settings match my DRAM specs. Ran memtest and i still got errors. I'm gonna open and test my RAM modules 1 by 1 tommorow.
Hardware failure probably, use the installation disk, don't use windows restore.
Well i tested my RAM modules and one of them as a corrupted block or something like this. I'm going to send it to the manufacturer. Memtest86+ is ok with the other module so i'm gonna live on it for a few weeks i guess. I'm gonna monitor my pc again and close this thread in a couple of days.
