Hey guys. Building my first PC, These are the upgrade parts i've chosen http://www.komplett.se/msi-z87-g45-gaming-socket-1150/782065#!tab:info http://www.komplett.se/msi-geforce-gtx-770-gaming-2gb-physx/782080 http://www.komplett.se/kingston-hyperx-3k-ssd-240gb-25/750726 http://www.komplett.se/intel-core-i7-4770k/780483 I'm wondering if everything is compatiable. From what I've gathered there should be no problem whatsoever. Just thought I would doublecheck on here. Also, if someone knows, how much power will this setup draw? Currently on a 650w powersupply.
Those are all fine parts. What PSU are you using (650 watts is enough but if you have a really bad PSU it can fry all your parts)? Also what is the purpose of this build, because if it's just gaming a 4670k will deliver the same performance within a few FPS. Hyperthreading actually reduces performance in some games meaning that on average the 4670k will outperform the 4770k unless hyperthreading is turned off (which essentially turns the processor into a 4670k since that's the only real difference).
Just general gaming. I just want it to last me a few years before i have to switch out parts again. My current build is from 2008, and it works rather alright, however id like to upgrade whilst i still have money in my pocket. Also, i just checked out my PSU, i was mistaken. Its 600w. Its the Corsair cx600
That'll be perfectly adequate for your purposes. I highly recommend the 4670k over the 4770k for the above mentioned reasons.

With the money i saved from getting a 4670k instead of the 4770k i picked up some watercooling supplies aswell. Gonna have so much fun making this build. Thanks for all your help, flayne!
