Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio (Manga) - The Arpeggio manga is very different to the anime/OVAs and is just as good if not better in some places. Crunchyroll ended up grabbing it so you'll find them all on there.
Salty Road (Manga) - The Takao spin-off that is pretty much dead at this point. There's one chapter translated and the manga itself is finished. I'm just hoping for it to be picked up again at this point.
Koukaku no Pandora - More cute robogirls being whacky. If you enjoyed the anime you'll enjoy this.

Ran to Haiiro no Sekai (Manga)
Nina-san no Mahou Seikatsu
Comfy witch/magic manga with only a few chapters so far
Here's my favorite manga no joke.
Boku Girl (Manga)
Lemme quote the description:
"Mizuki gets confessed to by a boy in front of a special mirror.
Legend has it, that if you confess to someone you like in front of that mirror your wish comes true.
There is a slight problem in this equation: Mizuki is just a very feminine looking boy.
Also, it seems that he caught the attention of the Norse Trickster God,
Loki, while glancing into the mirror. Loki decides out of boredom to
mess with Mizuki and turns him into a real girl."
And the tags: Comedy, Ecchi, Gender Bender, Romance, School Life, Seinen, Supernatural
It's funny, it's cute, its got romance, the art is very good in my opinion. And the main character (cute boy) gets turned into a girl (cute girl). It's definitely 18+ but it's not always explicitly sexual all the time.
I've been on the fence about posting this for maybe a week but whatever, if even one person here enjoys it then it was worth it.
Just to comment on this, this manga is actually finished so it has an an actual ending which is nice. Can confirm it's good.
I'm disappointed that you weren't the one to recommend Hitoribocchi with that background.
Don't you want to help Bocchi have some more friends?
Probably should have later, but it wouldnt have worked for the joke
You people need to read Sumire-16-sai the story about a 16 year old girl (who's actually a puppet controlled by an old man) going through the hardships of youth
Kengan Asura has some nice punches and kicks, with some pretty good art to boot.
Countach is a about some guy getting a countach, it's kinda like Initial D if everyone was super rich
Lies of the Sheriff Evans: Dead or Love a guy know his way around a gun and becomes the best sheriff in town, only because he wants a girl to bone.
The promised neverland answers the age of question, which is tastier, organic or processed people
Goblin slayer like the name implies, it's a story about golins being slain by a goblin slayer
Sun-ken rock (Mainstory) and Wallman (sidestory) japanese guy chases after a girl he's into to Korea and ends up becoming head of a gang. Wallman is about a retired hitman getting back into business with his sidekick Danny DeVito
Survival Some kid is trapped on an island because of a world ending event, makes more sense if you disregard the logic of how he got there, but it's a very nice read, the later half is kinda dull though.
Alyosha! a girl assassin has to kill "not putin" but because of a sudden and very well timed civil war she no longer has to do so, and instead has to live as a regular school girl.
I've been really enjoying Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku

Do you like being bullied by smug anime girls?
They do not get anymore smug than this.
Ijiranaide, Nagatoro Please don't bully me, Nagatoro
Molester Man was a goddang rollercoaster of emotions, I'm still fidgeting after finishing a one-go, full-course marathon of it just a moment ago. If that is lighthearted for you, I don't think my heart could take it if I read Onani!
it has its funny moments just like molester man but it gets much more serious imo
Can I ask if anyone has recommendations for any romance manga? Ones that are sweet, have layered characters, and most importantly no dumb melodrama or dumb love rivals?
So that's where that character is from.
Yo Goblin Slayer is fucking sick! Goblins! Gore! T&A! Ra-wait that's awful.
It's getting an anime too.

Bonnouji is my personal favorite so i recommend that
has a much more casual non-anime tone than usual and the manga doesnt end when they get together
Gonna second Bonnouji as its pretty great, it has a pretty chill tone and doesn't really drag on.
There is Horimiya though it get more like a comedy later on, theres some melodrama but its on the side characters.
Also Tsuredure Children is one of the the more sweet romances but its about multiple pairs and some does drag on a bit.
Might also check out Futari no Renai Shoka, some conflicts but its kinda short and still sweet.
I recommend REC.

Thank you for the recommendations, everyone.
This work has already been hyped quite a bit and has an official release now, but if you haven't yet read My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness, you should consider it. A cuttingly honest autobiographical story with a very accurate title.

Insanity lies within this manga, but it's honestly one of the funniest depressing manga I've ever read.
Back Street Girls (Manga)
Description:
"A group of 3 yakuza failed their boss for the last time. After messing
up an important job, the boss gives them 2 choices: Honorably committing
suicide, or go to Thailand to get a sex reassignment surgery in order
to becomes "female" idols. After a gruesome year long training to become
idols, they successfully debut, with overwhelming popularity, much to
their dismay. This is where their tragedy truly begins."
It's absolute madness.

This is one of the best things I've ever read, the characters, story, and emotion are all completely different from average manga, it's really got something special going for it and you're doing yourself a disservice by not reading it right now.
How do you all feel about the No Starch Press manga guides? I imagine these would be great for middle and high-schoolers trying to learn complicated subjects, and I've heard good reviews of them.
