I like Steins;Gate 0, but they do not put any budget into these action scenes.
I watched the first episode of HxH. It was alright and I'll probably watch a few more before I really decide, but it felt pretty "kiddy". Does it get a bit more serious later? I don't mind some lightheartedness but if its all so happy go lucky kid stuff I'll probably pass.

i felt the same way about the first episode but it grew on me and got pretty addicting to watch even before the darker arcs
the first arc is the weakest link, stick with it for a while it quickly improves.
Yeah, I've been keeping up with the new season and this is super noticeable. The voice acting has been really good (especially these emotional last few episodes) but the animation just falls flat during any fast-moving scene.
Yeah that's basically what I've heard. I plan to give it a decent chance, was just curious.

Which part of JoJo (the anime) do you guys like the most?
Rewatching Debiruman: Tiny Man of Tears and noticed some things I haven't on the first watch:
Didn't notice the change of Kid's and Cat's tongue colors showing that they were possessed.
Also, the Strike Squad in the jungle that found the tribe I think spoke in Russian in Japanese Dub, so it was weird seeing them speak in English in Dub.
Part 2.
For me it changes almost day to day. Right now I'm inclined to say Part 3 because characters like Old Joseph and D'arby and Dio are so much fun to watch.
But Part 4 has some of the best music.
But Part 2 has Stroheim.
It's so hard for me to pick a favorite.
Seems like Phantom Blood is quite underrated.
i finished watching little witch academia, and that was some real hype shit during the last episodes, especially at the end of episode 22 where akko found out about chariot converting dreams into magical energy to make her show better and that was the reason why she blows dick at magic. anonymousnumbers said that the show would've been better if each episode was a one-off episode where it just featured the weekly fun hijinx the girls were up to and he's probably right, but it was still fun with its second arc focusing more on the story. i probably shouldn't have watched the anime with netflix subs because there was a time where akko clearly said yes but the subs said no and it just made me 🤔🤔🤔.
i think at episode 20 i found out that diana cavendish and kyoko kirigiri from dingle bambos are both voiced by yoko hikasa and for the rest of the show every time diana spoke i could only hear kirigiri and always thought about danganronpa. that's probably why diana is now my favorite lwa character combined with the fact that i realized she's pretty hot and ursula's milf/cake/ss/(correct term used to describe single older anime women used by intellectuals) appeal was wearing off.
now i'm excited to watch katanagatari which has that cute white-haired girl
There is no Jojo part I don't love, and I have to say that watching Part 1 for the first time was such a joy, because it took all these scenes I knew so well and put them to beautiful animation. Araki's awkward artwork (which has its own charm) was gone in favor of something a lot more refined, so it was like seeing Part 1 anew all over again.
Speedwagon has gotta be the best thing about Part 1, but I also love Jonathan's pure-cinnamon-roll-ness
My main issue with the little witch academia series is that the main plot of the show doesn't start until halfwa through the show. Basically everything up to that point was episodic.
Part 4 probably, at least until they animate Part 7
part 3, particularly season 2
