I didn't even make it ten minutes into Dropkick, I can't imagine watching the whole thing.
Ok so just by curiosity i decided to check Dropkick. I can't believe they stretched the same jokes for ~20 minutes
Dropkick was so weak I had to close the curtains else the video file would evaporate
halfway through hinamatsuri i havent been this moved since clannad afterstory no joke
Middle Manager Tonegawa had a very mediocre first episode, but hit its stride by the third episode and has settled into its style where I would call it well worth watching, managing to overcome the flaws presented in the first episode via strength of comedy.
Latest S;G 0 episode: I think they're trying to ride a little too hard on the coattails of the original/first season. Honestly kinda feels like a cop out. They could do so much more with time travel yet they decide to rehash the my loved ones keep dying, gotta keep jumping timelines to witness the same thing over and over again. Like I saw the time machine getting blown up a second time from a mile away. I hope they subvert it or at least do something less predictable in the next episode(s).

Just dropping by and it warms my heart to see everyone still loves talking about Monogatari. I love it so much, I need to finish it but I'm balls deep in the early 1990's Berserk. It's so fucking good as well, above all I'm loving the music so much. Anyway, that was nice so see you around.
i watched devilman crybaby and it was pretty good, 7/10. everyone was raving about it but tbh i don't see how it's so special, especially with that ending. in fact, the ending seemed kind of anticlimactic and even lame. i feel like the old devilman manga was referenced too much throughout the show to the point where it was distracting and doesn't really work, especially with the protaganist being devilman. at the end, i was caught off guard when i suddenly heard emilia and then i quickly realized "oh yea, they got rie takahashi to voice this cat for like 7 seconds." probably the saddest part in the anime was where the father found taro and her mother in that tent, notmiki's death. i also tried to watching a certain magical index, but i just couldn't watch it. it felt pretty dull the whole time, i don't know why. i was pretty disappointed, so i dropped it at 3 episodes in. i found myself binge watching made in abyss the last couple of days. it's banging, better than devilman for sure. i think it's really neat how we don't know know anything about the truth of the abyss and that just makes the series really fascinating and makes me want to watch it more. i'm also not a loli connoisseur, but riko is adorable (not bang-cute, but adorable). there's one flaw, though: i think the characters traverse the abyss too quickly. maybe it spends more time in the manga doing that, but i was like "nigga what" when at the beginning of an episode they just came out of the seeker camp and started traversing the third (or was it the fourth?) layer and at the end of the same episode they reached the end of the layer. i feel like it's weird to also put a character in the op for so many episodes when you only see her in the last 4 episodes of the anime. btw ouzen is best girl. i watched one episode of katanagatari and i really loved it. i swear i'm going to go over to nisioisin's house and punch him in the dick for cutting off togame's hair and making her look boring, what a stupid fucking meme. but it's really unfortunate how the episodes are 50 minutes long because i want to do my favorite autistic meme where i stretch out watching the episodes over a long period of time in order to maximize enjoyment, but i can only do it for 11 more weeks, not 24 thanks to the anime only having 12 episodes. i can't split each episode in half because that would be weird and abrupt, so i'll just deal with it and watch a full episode every friday.
Watch it then read it
when i made that post i was only 10 episodes in, but that ending of made in abyss OH MY GOD that's so dark and horrible and uncomfortable and i love it so much. mitty's character design was really distasteful, but i love bondrewd's character design because of how mysterious it is.
Finally finished JoJo, and now waiting for part 5. Long, but it definitely was an enjoyable experience.
Binge read all of Promised Neverland... Why did chapter 100 have to be the latest one? All escapees get to be happy, but seeing Phil's new life, my god. It's just pure suffering. His smile is too precious for this world. I didn't want this despair. Ray at least had escape plan brewing to not go insane.

I've been reading so many manga I haven't had the time to watch any anime. But I recently watched Gamers! and it made me sick for the first half but it got slightly less annoying later on I guess. 5/10 it's ok begone ghost page
i cant even fucking check the new posts here since it keeps sending me back to page one what the FUCK get out of here fucking yokai
The ghost page is super annoying. Having to click through all the pages to get to the latest page is also annoying because you can't just search for the page you want.
i just type the page number in the url, it's a whole lot quicker
Shingeki no Eotans 43 It feels like they answered a lot more questions than I would've liked this episode, I wonder if we're gonna be turning into a jojo style battle anime with different titans abilities.
I'm going to kill all you titans with the power of my stand: They May Be Giants! Atta atta atta atta atta atta!

https://i.imgur.com/gH5WlrA.jpg "Anime Classics" Just because Spriggan was one of the 12 anime released in the west at the time, that didn't mean it was a classic. At least shove Ghost in the Shell, AKIRA, or something else in there.
There's this thing called distribution rights, there's a manga entertainment logo there... guess what movies they don't hold the rights to?
They literally had the license for both at the time that DVD was released.
at least vampire hunter D bloodlust is on there, easily one of the most beautifully animated anime movies i've seen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5i2G0AytEPw

Are there any other shows with Castle In The Sky styled robots? I dig those jointed arms. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/596/20f61ad9-6757-4436-85c5-d2b6e03457fb/image.png
Something about that "vintage anime quality" aesthetic really does it for me.
