Planet With should've been given more time to flesh itself out. It could've been so good but all of its emotion was rushed.
It had enough time for what it was doing in my opinion, I didn't think it was rushed at all.
Asobi asobase ended and that makes me sad
But i picked up Overlord and catching up to the airdate made me less sad
Well, there's also an OVA and specials to come out.
Pretty sure I'm about to buy all the "interviews with Monster Girls" manga series right now.

Coming out next month.
Since this season is coming to a close (discounting two cour or longer shows), what did everyone watch and like? what was your favorite show.
I'm moving away from following seasons in full now because I don't have time to gamble on them anymore, but I still watched a few and really enjoyed them.
Angolmois was a nice, simple historical series, I enjoyed it.
Planet With was amazing, loved it.
Banana fish is really good but it ain't over yet and I didn't really care about anything else even in what I actually tried watching.
Asobi Asobase was anime of the season
Boku no Hero's first half was great, the second half was kinda slow
I binged Overlord but i would undertand if it felt like a chore to watch weekly. It was fun tho
Saw 2 episodes of Cells at Work and got bored
Isekai Maou to Shoukan.... was this season isekai that makes me angry but i keep watching (theres always one every season)
eh, this season was ok i guess
By the end of the season, Asobi Asobase and Planet With were the only things I kept up with regularly. Sounds like there was other good stuff that I just didn't get around to, though.
Just embrace dropping things.
There was so much potential and ideas they could've done with such a unique anime, but they ended up pretty much doing the same thing almost every other episode. Ton of recycled animation segments in formulaic plot structures (with only slight variation on the characters involved).
And here I was thinking Asobi Asobase was going to be dumb, yet you guys giving it so much praise.
oh fuck, can i add shows that i saw this season that are from previous ones?
I saw Comic girls, it was shit but kinda cute sometimes
Eromanga sensei was funny and cute but it creeped me out sometimes
i guess thats it
Is it bad that the only show I'm looking forward to is the one with the gay cat

I need it to live more than I need air
Animation looks a bit stiff, and I don't remember Cow girl having those massive melons. Hope they go balls out on the first episode like the manga did.
Other than Planet With, Banana Fish, and Asobi Asobase, I enjoyed Satsuriku no Tenshi. It's technically not over because the last four episodes are streaming online, but it's a fun, very campy horror series with a surprisingly good sense of humour and self-awareness that wears its RPGmaker origins on its sleeve. Surprisingly loads of fun after the first episode makes you think it's going to be a tone-deaf edgefest.
Middle Manager Tonegawa massively picked up after a bad first episode, and I'm glad that it's continuing into next season where it's looking barren for comedy. The writing and direction picked up, but it's still annoying that the music ranges between unmemorablely hanging out in the background where you barely notice it and non-existent when Kaiji s1 and s2 have incredibly strong musical direction.
Chio-Chan was a mediocre adaptation of good source material. The voice casting was right, but the direction, music, and animation quality were disappointing. Grand Blue had the same problem of falling into Golden Kamuy's hole of not being bad, but there being very little reason to watch it over just reading the manga. At least Chio-Chan had some good vocal casting and the outtakes gag at the end was strong.
Hataraku Saibou rapidly becomes more formulaic than I can't even think of a good example it's so formulaic. Incredibly uncreative use of its setting most of the time, bad action, cast bloat, the list goes on. I'm three episodes from the end and I'm struggling to find a reason to even bother to complete it, it's like a series made of nothing but padding and filler episodes.
which coward deleted their account this time
Since Taigai no longer works with MAL and I think I've waited long enough, I'm just gonna switch over to Anilist. I lost a shit ton of episodes on my "history" tab on Taiga (all the episodes that never updated to MAL because of the API being down) but whatever, I'll remember them if I see them.

Then someone shops her face with Princess Bean. Oh noes, I went there. Plz don't.

they have arrived
OK so on basically every show I've watched, sometimes there's text in the world somewhere like on a book and they edit over it some English text. But every time it's all flickery and shit or literally only shows up for a few frames.
Have I just been watching shitty quality videos? Or is this a common thing for some reason? I don't know why they would go to the effort of changing it at all if it's not gonna be there long enough to read?
Your codecs are fucked up and/or you're using a shit video player.
Get this:

Leave everything at it's default values.
