Hmmm, killing myself wasn't on the agenda today, gonna have to move its appointment up.

Ah, I hope that's a joke.
it's just an ad for the new volume of berserk, not a live action movie announcement or anything
man even by J-drama standards that's looks bad
https://youtu.be/6NCTH0Uo8CQ One of the few shows i'm looking forward to next season
Maybe it's just me but these "Hey look at our cute anime! J/K it's actually super gory and everyone dies!" just don't do it for me. At least that's what that preview looks like to me.
That's just something they did for the pv. None of the promo pics and such tried anything like that.
I really can't see what else it would be even without the preview...
Yeah I suppose, still looking forward to it tho.
Well I've watched the first few episodes of Cowboy Bebop, it's decent but I was expecting more of an overarching story? I'm about 6 eps in and so far every episode is more or less standalone. Nothing wrong with that but I prefer shows with a "bigger" story. Either way I'll probably watch more. Don't know what the general opinion is on Tokyo Ghoul, I didn't really know anything about it but I'd seen it talked about and it looked kinda interesting so just went in more or less blind. I've finished the first season and I thought it was pretty good.
bebop is mostly episodic but it has story episodes sometimes, I honestly wish it had more episodes like those but that's an uncommon sentiment among fans. Tokyo ghoul is only downhill from there you should save yourself now.
Tokyo Ghoul falls off a fucking anime original cliff after the first season, go read the manga until the end. Ignore Re: because it's a fucking trash fire.
Wait so the second season doesn't follow the manga? I watched the first episode and I'm already pretty confused
it messes up the story and vaguely follows it but cuts out all the good parts and it sucks.
So will it sort of spoil the story if I watch it, then read the manga?
Yeah, just read it if you want to see the end of the story, in my opinion the anime seasons aren't worth watching at all.
I only watched Season 1 of Tokyo Ghoul, it's definitely one of the edgier things I've seen in my time.
I still need to finish season 2. I'm lazy with finishing shows now.
Yeah it's definitely a bit edgy but it was kinda fun. I started reading the manga and yeah, the stuff the anime missed out was kinda needed, some things that confused me on the show made more sense in the manga and it all felt less rushed.
Akanesasu Shoujo's first episode was rad. Like a really fun combination of Steins;Gate, Noein, and Occult Academy. Looking forward to seeing the rest if it can stick the landing.

I was getting real SCP vibes from the first half of the episode before they opened the gate. Wish they could've explored it a bit more before suddenly throwing in Mary Sue alt-dimension clone right from the get go. Either way, I'm interested to see where it goes from here. Also started watching Slime Isekai. Totally wished they'd kept his normal voice instead of that annoying high pitched slime voice. Would've made it a bit more bearable and probably more humorous. Not a huge deal breaker; I'll keep watching.
Where can I read this since a quick google search says there's a manga?
I've ran out of shit to watch, anyone got some good show recommendations that have a lot of worldbuilding? Would prefer fantasy a la spice and wolf, but any world genre is fine.
Seirei no Moribito and Juuni Kokuki are the big ones, Juuni particularly. After that, Berserk, Grimgar, Made in Abyss, Mushishi, and a bunch of shows that are somewhat less worldbuildy like Scrapped Princess, Tower of Druaga, Garo: Honoo no Kokuin, Shingeki no Bahamut s1, Akatsuki no Yona. Plus whenever I've forgotten.
Does anyone know if the Persona 3 movies are worth the time if you loved the game or are they pretty poor either way? Been too busy lately to watch at least the first one to see for myself.
Burned through Asobi Asobase way too quick. Need more of it.
I like them a lot, good determinant of the game and don't really miss any content (outside of S links, obviously). I even think that the ending has more weight animated this way as opposed to ingame. Definitely recommend
Need recommendations for paranormal/mystery/sci-fi/horror stuff. I watched a bit of that show where the alien parasite infects someones hand, and fails to kill him. That was fun, but it's probably a bit old by now. Current/ongoing series would be cool.
